Sunday Synopsis 006
one. Okay. I admit. I cheated a little here. The makeup featured here is actually from last week but since I didn't do a Sunday Synopsis last week, I included it here. Ha. These drugstore products made my otherwise drab face wedding ready! From left to right: E.L.F Brushes, Body Shop Brushes, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Avon Magix Cashmere Finish Foundation, Intimately Beckham EDT, Revlon Rose & Shine Lipstick, Rimmel Glam Eyes Trio Eye Shadows in 747 Dark Angel, Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush, and the Rimmel London Volume Accelerator Mascara. The wedding ceremony was simple and took place in the Mosque, so I kept my makeup appropriately light and effortless.
two. My kicks and exercise wear. Exercise? Who am I kidding? I went for a walk. Sweats are my typical weekend wear when I'm not in scrubs and they are my fave thing to wear! I love being relaxed and comfortable!
three. GUESS WHO FINALLY GOT THEIR HANDS ON THE REAL TECHNIQUES BRUSHES?! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I've been waiting to purchase these for at least 4 months or so and they've been sold out at my local department store every time I visit! I kid you not! The Real Techniques website does NOT currently ship to Canada so I tried EBay but they were SO over priced! I needed a new hair dryer and diffuser so I decided to try my luck today and thank God they were available! I took one of the 3 sets left! I actually was looking to purchase the Core Collection but it was sold out (big surprise there), so I went with the Travel Essentials set (includes a foundation brush, multi task brush, domed shadow brush and the panoramic case). Can't wait to try these babies out!
four. I've been expanding my horizons in the kitchen lately and finally made my first Indomie Stir Fry Noodles! They look so scrumptious, don't you think? My recipe still needs some tweaking but I enjoyed them nonetheless!
five. I purchased a new blow dryer for myself since I am guilty of walking out the door with soaking dripping wet hair. Just how I like it. I am actually looking forward to using the diffuser! I will def try it out and let y'all know how it goes! This particular model is the Revlon 1875 Watt Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Dryer. There were so many to chose from but I decided to go with this one mostly because of the colour. I'm living life out loud!
six. My Sunday night ended on a quiet note with a fab dinner, the june/july issue of Teen Vogue and a little relaxation with my Tablet on Instagram (follow me here). I must say though, I'm not a fan of this months Teen Vogue cover, Nicki Minaj looks way TOO touched up and/or fake! Maybe it's just me?
Anywho! It's back to the grind tomorrow. GOD, I HATE MONDAYS! Can it be the weekend already?
