Hello there! Hope you are all having a great start to the new year! Hard to believe it's only been few days since we left 2012, how time flies! For me it was back to work on the 2nd, which was kind of a bummer but getting some awesome news on the 3rd made up for it! I'm so anxious for the next couple of months; looking forward to some life changing events (cross your fingers) coming my way!
My first purchases of the year were a little lame, I must say. I didn't go out and buy myself a Tiffany ring or a Michael Kors watch; instead, I bought: St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub (which I love!), two Crystal Waters Body washes in Cherry Blossom and Raspberry/Vanilla (review?!) and the latest issue of Teen Vogue. What better way to start of the year with than with a fresh scent, clear skin and the latest on trends and fashion? Am I right? I think that's a good start. *wink*
... And finally out with the old and in with the new! In regards to planners that is! I've retired my teeming 2012 planner and purchased a new one for this year. I love keeping organised (it helps keep me sane) and I achieve more when I can read and see what things I have to do (like my cutsie giraffe pen?). I get to start a new page for 2013 and with a positive attitude! Especially since its a new year it means I can leave all the grief from the past year behind and start afresh.
I'd love to know what your goals or resolutions are for this year, do not hesitate to share! I'm not one to make new years resolutions, since I never stick to them. Instead I've decided to make long term changes for my life and hopefully I can better stick to that. Those changes include this blog (so far I've done some tweaking...do you like?) and rest assured I won't be going anywhere any time soon!
Here are a few changes I'd like to make starting now: Better manage my finances, Become physically active, Wake up/go to bed with a positive attitude, Take my health more seriously, Forget about the past and not continue to let it get to me, Be thankful for what I have and don't complain, and Praying regularly are among the few. I went a little serious on you there, didn't I? Shaking off last year. Bring it on 2013!
Goodbye 2012 and good riddance!
