Simple is always better: Review

I was SO excited to test out the sample products I received from Simple Skincare UK *Please note this is NOT a PR sample*. I had seen quite a bit of the brand floating around on Youtube and the websphere; however my first introduction to the skincare line was on my last trip to the UK, and it's now in CANADA! I'm ecstatic however the only downside to this is that the Canadian product line is very limited but includes scrubs, facial wipes, toners, face wash and moisturisers. Those would be the essentials, however the Brits have access to the entire product line which includes hair care, lip care, a men's line as well as baby products. Cross you fingers for a product line expansion (for Canada & the rest of the world) in the future!
My favourite thing about the brand is they "cater" to sensitive skin and that's what the brand is all about. I have sensitive skin so I need to watch what I use, especially on my face! Simple Skincare is perfect for that, they offer "simple" products safe for your skin without the harsh chemicals. I really enjoyed the Eye Makeup Remover, it removed my Kohl/ Kajal quite easily. The consistency is perfect and not too thick - which I prefer. I didn't like the Refreshing Facial Wash Gel for two reasons. The first being the viscosity and the scent after application. It wasn't appealing to me all and it did not feel refreshing on my skin. It did however, dry my skin out a little bit. Nonetheless, I don't HATE the product; I have used other similar face washes and I don't see anything special about this one.

The good
~ Reasonably priced at $7.99 and up
~ No harsh chemicals
~ Big fan of the Eye Makeup Remover
~ Can be found at your local drugstores and department stores
~ Products are perfectly light on the skin

The bad
~ Not a fan of the Refreshing Face Wash Gel + the scent

Overall Thoughts
Would I repurchase: Refreshing Face Wash Gel - No, Eye Makeup Remover - Yes!
Would I recommend: Yes! Give it a shot!
I look forward to trying out the other products!

Have you tried any Simple Skincare products? How did you like my review?
